Arsalan Latif presented a poster in the Annual Life Sciences Symposium held by the School of Life Sciences at the University of Nottingham. The poster was titled, “Surface chemistries influence fibroblast to myofibroblast differentiation”. All posters were judged by a panel of academics and Arsalan gained the Best Poster Presentation Award.
Arsalan is a PhD student in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, School of Life Sciences and his main supervisor is Amir Ghaemmaghami. Arsalan joined the EPSRC Programme Grant in Next Generation Biomaterials Discovery in 2016 working on developing immune instructive niches to promote healing and suppress fibrosis, mainly associated with RC4: Advanced Materials for Medical Devices.
