Location: Nottingham Writers Studio
In celebration of LGBT History Month, please join the Rights and Justice RPA, University of Nottingham and the Nottingham Writer's Studio for a unique event on Friday 19th February 2016, 7pm.
Mojisola Adebayo is a performer, playwright, producer, director, workshop leader and lecturer. She has worked on theatre projects all over the world, from Antarctica to Zimbabwe. She is delighted to be participating in LGBT History Month for University of Nottingham by sharing a Retrospective Presentation on her work. She will talk about three of her queerest and most successful plays namely, Moj of the Antarctic, Muhammad Ali and Me and I Stand Corrected. She will read and perform brief extracts from the plays, show photos and clips, respond to your questions and engage in a discussion. It promises to be a stimulating evening which asks, what is the place of the queer artist on the world stage today?
