Clinical Assistant Professor in Equine Medicine, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences
Adam, a Clinical Assistant Professor in Equine Medicine, recently became a Diplomate of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine. He leads an established equine service at Oakham Veterinary Hospital with Emma Shipman, who is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal medicine, complimenting the strong surgical and diagnostic imaging reputation of the hospital. He has a particular clinical interest in equine cardiology and will continue to develop this area of the practice including developing transvenous electrocardioveraion techniques for horses with atrial fibrillation alongside his research interests in the management of acute and chronic pain and quality improvement in veterinary practice.
