Jorge Vazquez graduated as a Mathematician from México in 2005. He come to England and completed his PhD at the University of Exeter working on a cellular automata approach for the simulation and development of advanced phase change memory devices. He worked at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Essex as a Senior Research Officer (2013-2016), as Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science, University of Warwick (2016-2017) and as Research Fellow at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, University of Nottingham (2017-2020). In November 2020 he became an Assistant Professor in Precision Livestock Technologies. Jorge is A Race Champion of the EDI & Committee for the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science (2024-2026).
Jorge is an Assistant Professor in Precision Livestock Technologies. Jorge expertise is in statistical and mathematical modelling, machine learning, data mining, signal processing, sensor technology and computational engineering
