Biography

I graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2006, and worked in mixed practice for two years before moving to a small animal practice in Staffordshire where I still work part time. My main clinical interest is in veterinary ophthalmology and I now spend the majority of my time in practice treating patients with eye problems.

I joined the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science at Nottingham in 2019 as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Veterinary Education. My role at the school is quite varied, and includes undergraduate teaching in ophthalmology, as well as developing and delivering post-graduate CPD, delivered both online and in-person. Within this role I act as a personal tutor to vets on the Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Veterinary) Apprenticeship course.

I have completed several post graduate qualifications over the years including a CertAVP, and most recently a BSAVA ophthalmology certificate, allowing me to become an Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Ophthalmology.
