Biography

Dr Marta Gruarin graduated in 2011 at the University of Bologna (Italy) and shortly thereafter she started a PhD on anaemia associated with chronic kidney disease in dogs. During her PhD, she spent 5 months at Texas A&M University and developed a strong interest in clinical pathology that led her to undertake a residency in veterinary clinical pathology in a commercial diagnostic laboratory in the UK. After completing an alternate residency program she became Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathology (clinical pathology) in October 2023.
