Biography

Dr Robert Hyde is an RCVS recognised specialist veterinarian focusing on translating cutting edge computer vision research into practical benefits for animal health and welfare. He is co-founder of the University of Nottingham spin-out company Vet Vision AI.

Robert became an RCVS recognised specialist veterinary surgeon in 2019, and obtained a PhD using AI to improve animal health and welfare in 2021. For his contributions to research he has been awarded both the Gertrude Cropper and Andrew Hendry research awards.
