Dr Tricia McKeever graduated from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota, having studied Biology. She went on to study for her Master's in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, then for her PhD at the University of Nottingham, where she is now a Professor.

Dr McKeever co-coordinates and teaches on a number of modules on the Masters of Public Health include Epidemiology, and Medical Statistics . She also teaches on the Epidemiology and Statistics courses for PGR students and NHS data analysts.
Dr McKeever's main area of research interest is respiratory epidemiology and has worked across a wide range of diseases include asthma, COPD, pneumonia, flu, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, and COVID. She has applied a wide range of methods to the research including databases research, meta-analyses, clinical research, and service evaluation.
