Description

Professor Victor Nabhan and Professor Paul Torremans

Professor Victor Nabhan set out the innovative Canadian exception for user generated content. A number of practical examples of user generated content showed the potential impact of this new exception in Canadian copyright law. Professor Paul Torremans added a comparative EU perspective, including a discussion of the changes that may flow from the ongoing reform package in Europe. All this then gave rise to a lively discussion with the audience.
