Professor Jane Frecknall-Hughes presents paper on 'Barriers to Tax Compliance'

Professor Jane Frecknall-Hughes was invited to present a paper entitled 'Barriers to Tax Compliance: The Tax Problems Experienced by Older People' at the quarterly meeting of the Low Incomes Tax Reform Group (LITRG) in London on 14 September. This paper was based a project funded by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) to examine data in the files of the charity, Tax Help for Older People.

Several presentations have been made based on this work, including most recently at the British Society of Gerontology Annual Conference (Manchester, 6-7 July 2018) and at an invited seminar at the Centre for Household Assets and Savings Management (CHASM) at the University of Birmingham (6 December 2017).
