Professor Irit Mevorach to attend the International Insolvency Institute's 22nd Annual Conference (Toronto, 5-7 September 2022)

Professor Irit Mevorach will co-chair the academic and judicial-academic sessions of the International Insolvency Institute Annual Conference. In these sessions, she will participate in round tables and panels including on directors' duties at times of and in insolvency.

Professor Mevorach will also participate in the celebratory session ‘Celebrating and Reflecting on 25 Years of the Model Law on Cross Border Insolvency’ on 6 September where she will discuss the success and weaknesses of the Model Law, the attempts to address gaps through new Model Laws on judgments and on enterprise groups, and the challenges in the implementation of the Model Laws in domestic systems.

Professor Mevorach will then participate in the finale cast of ‘Risk!- A Climate Cabaret’ as a guest III member.
