Professors Torremans and Derclaye participate in workshop on copyright unitary title

Professor Estelle Derclaye and Professor Paul Torremans were invited to participate at a online workshop by the Institute for information law, University of Amsterdam (IvIR) as part of the project ReCreating Europe.

The question the experts from all over Europe debated was “What advantages & barriers do we see for uniform titles for copyright and related rights?” There were plenary and break-out sessions where lots of interesting ideas emerged.

Prof M. van Eechoud from IvIR will draft a report based on the workshop contributions ahead a second workshop later this year.
