Selected Publications

  • Nanomaterials Production and characterisation of advanced nanoparticles and novel one-dimensional nanowires and nanotubes, exploration of their multi-functions such as gas sensor, waste treatment etc.
  • Nanocomposites Preparation of polymer and metal based nanocomposites (polymer and metal based) properties (mechanical, tribological and thermal) studies of nanocomposites using dedicate techniques. Potential applications includes thermal management for power electronics packaging, self-lubricating parts in weight critical application etc.
  • Nanocomposite thin film/coating preparation using techniques such as CVD, PVD and electroless plating etc., and surface morphological and compositional characterisation by multi- advanced techniques
