A proposal led by Daniel Tejero to perform small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) and ultra-small-angle neutron scattering (USANS) measurements at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) was granted back in November 2018. The grant, with an equivalent value of over $AUD 75,000 will provide an insight into the porosity levels and size distribution of thermal and environmental barrier coatings, including its evolution after high temperature exposure.
Recently, a travel grant from the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund was also won, providing funding for the cost associated with the experiments.
Congratulations to Daniel Tejero and the entire CME team for the effort put into the proposal and travel grant application.
