Jon McGregor
Jon McGregor, the School of English's Writer in Residence, is delighted to announce that he will be judging on this year's panel for the David Cohen Prize for Literature.
The Prize annually recognises a living writer from the UK or the Republic of Ireland for a lifetime's achievement award in literature, and is worth £40,000.
Jon is the author of numerous novels and short stories, recently The Reservoir Tapes and Reservoir 13, which won the Costa Novel Award in 2017. Jon is also the editor of The Letters Page, a literary journal concerned with publishing poetry, memoir, essays, criticism and travelogue that take the form of letters. Jon has further previously served as a judge for the Goldsmith's Prize, the BBC National Short Story Award, and the Commonwealth Writer's Prize.
