Dr Andrew Harrison of the D.H. Lawrence Research Centre has been invited to give two guest lectures on 'Odour of Chysanthemums' at the Goethe University, Frankfurt. This celebrated short story is set in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire and based on Lawrence's experience of working-class life around Brinsley Colliery.
The University of Nottingham Manuscripts and Special Collections online resource features four different versions of the text showing Lawrence's development of the story.
