The key findings from the Optimal Study describing how to structure effective healthcare provision in UK care homes, which was funded by the National Institute of Health Research, have now been published online in an easy to digest video format designed for a lay audience.
This research reinforces the importance of healthcare and care home services working to develop relationships which recognise the important role that care home staff play in delivering high quality patient-centred care.
The Nottingham contribution to this research was led by Associate Professor Adam Gordon in the Division of Medical Sciences and Graduate Entry Medicine and Professor Tom Dening in the Institute of Mental Health.
