Ellie Rye graduated with a PhD in English Studies on 12 July. Her thesis, a study of the Scandinavian linguistic contribution to minor names of the north-west of England, was passed with minor corrections at the end of 2015. She is currently employed as a full-time Research Fellow on the Leverhulme-funded project, Travel and Communication in Anglo-Saxon England. Well done, Ellie!
