Conversation for Three

Conversation for Three (C43) is an interactive dining experience that combines art, science, theatre and philosophy through an emotionally responsive table that detects the diners’ emotional changes during conversation and projects different films, animations, conversational suggestions, film quotes and emits sounds depending on the emotions being detected.

Developed in a collaboration between artist Jo Fairfax, the Mixed Reality Lab and the Department of Architecture, C43 will go live at Broadway cinema on 17th and 18th of July, 2018.   

There are slots available to take part on the 16th in the evening and 19th in the afternoon, with meal and drinks included from a set menu, subject to participating in an evaluation and an interview at the end. Each dinner is for 90 minutes.
