Both Anthony Brown and Pat Brundell will give short talks to the lab.
Tosh will introduce the lab's newly installed 3D printer and discuss it's capabilities with the group.
This short talk will cover some of the motivations and mechanisms for collecting environmental data using Waspmotes. Waspmotes are small, practical sensor nodes designed to be deployed in the field and which the MRL has recently begun using. The work has arisen from the Performing Data project which investigates the conceptual and practical challenges of putting data at the heart of performance. The interpretation of environmental data using Wakouwa puppets is a playful example of the wide range of mechanisms which Performing data has explored.
