I’ll talk through the design if the Christmas with Artcodes advent calendar and consider what it tells us about the design of future physical-digital hybrid products. How can the digital add value to conventional physical products and vice versa? What kinds of customization, personalization & premiumisation become possible? What value chains might emerge, for example based around gifting? I’ll try and quickly make up something to say about these (or if not other) topics.
