Guest Speaker: Becky Smith

Urban Projections is the work and collaborations of multimedia artist Rebecca Smith. Fusing hand-crafted art-forms with with digital technologies, her work seeks to surprise and engage audiences with it's playful tone and interactivity. Constantly striving and seeking ways to push the boundaries of her discipline, Rebecca create's unique digital experiences. In her talk, she will be sharing her recent collaboration ‘Stylus’ in which she works with graffiti artists to create a performative, ‘living mural’ of both paint and projection. Rebecca will also be discussing ways that she takes her new media work out onto the streets.
