This week we will have one of the periodical papers meetings instead of a lab talk. Note that this starts 1 hour later than usual (at 1pm) due to undergraduate presentations taking place in the lab.
The point of papers meetings is to discuss emerging paper ideas to be worked on over the summer period. The possible benefits:- peer feedback on your emergent paper ideas e.g., for strategy / pitching / literature stuff- teaming up with others if you are looking for co-authors- connecting with people interested in offering to read drafts of papers for feedback
