Stefan Rennick-Egglestone, who was previously in the lab and is now based in the Institute of Mental Health, will give a talk to the lab on technologies for stroke rehabilitation.

Technologies for stroke rehabilitation – human factors

Rehabilitation post-stroke can continue indefinitely, and the design of technology to support the rehabilitation process has been a topic of research since at least 1992. This talk will describe a participatory design process that lead to the deployment of four technology probes. It will discuss a number of human factors that were identified through this process, and which influenced usage and uptake of technology probes.
