Synopsis: The SCIOaS study (Establishing Supportive Care needs for frail elders and developing an Intervention to address these in  adult acute medical settings)

Aiming to reconceptualise  Supportive Care as a framework for improving end of life care for older people with frailty. Tentative conclusions to be discussed with the audience include the usefulness of cumulative complexity theory to forward models of end of life care.
