Description

Research and development: 'Using theatre as a tool to discuss death and dying'

Speakers/performers: Hayley and Louise of Haylo Theatre

Synopsis: Hayley and Lousie are currently undertaking an MA at the University of Chester, focussing on end of life care and dying. They want to create a play that encompasses all of the issues surrounding end of life, which will generate conversation. As such, they would like to know what needs to be talked about and why you think this is important.

They will be exploring the following questions:

  • Why is it important to get people talking about end of life care and death?
  • In your professional experience, what issues are being raised and what barriers do we face with end of life care and death?
  • What change would you like to see?

Download the seminar flyer (PDF).

Light refreshments will be available from 12.30pm.
