Dr. Hiten Mistry, a former PhD student within the Division of Child Health, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, has recently been awarded a prestigious 4-year British Heart Foundation Intermediate Basic Science Research Fellowship to work on a project entitled: 'A new approach to an old problem: The roles of aldosterone and salt in normal pregnancy and pre-eclampsia' for the amount of £478,874. He will be based at City Hospital working under the mentorship of Professor Dave Bates and Dr Raheela Khan.
