Paper on endometrial scratching in fertility treatment wins Top Abstract at ISUOG 23rd World Congress

Dr Nick Raine-Fenning and his collaborators in Brazil have won the Top Abstract at the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) 23rd World Congress held in October.

Their paper, entitled “Endometrial injury performed in the non-transfer cycle and assisted reproduction outcomes: a randomised control trial”, reported clinical trial results that indicated that endometrial scratching in fertility treatment increased clinical pregnancy rates. (Dr Raine-Fenning elaborates on this research in this School of Medicine video.)
