Undertook an MSci degree in Chemistry at the University of Nottingham (2015-2020). A summer research project in computational chemistry was completed in 2019 in the Professor Jonathan Hirst group also at the University of Nottingham where a proof of concept for a user-friendly app synthetic chemists could use in industry to help speed up late stage drug discovery was completed, this work has now attracted funding for a PhD position within the Hirst group. My Masters project focused on photoelectron spectroscopy, probing the ionisation dynamics of aniline. Currently, I am working as a PhD student (4 years - 2020-2024) in the Professor Andrei Khlobystov Nanocarbon Group at the University of Nottingham, focusing on molecular imaging and nanoscale analysis to study photomagnetic materials.
