Claustrophobia
Once I left hospital and tried to navigate day-to-day life in a wheelchair, mundane tasks like going to the supermarket turned into a nightmare for me.
I started having panic attacks when I was out and developed a huge sense of claustrophobia.
There is nothing about everyday life in the UK. Even what’s supposed to be “accessible” that is easy when you are in a wheelchair.
