How can an understanding of representation help us to understand what's going on in UK politics?
Please join us for a roundtable symposium on representation in British politics.
Panellists will draw upon their own research findings to discuss how a focus on representation can help us to better understand current trends in UK politics. The conversation will touch on ongoing research projects in the voting behaviour of ethnic minorities, money in politics, the evolving role of the MP as a representative, and new insights from the devolved legislatures. There will be time for attendees to engage with panellists.
A light buffet lunch will be provided to registrants and the event will also feature additional information about how to get involved with the REPRESENT research network during the 2022-23 academic year.
This event will be held in person on the University Park campus and is open to academic staff, PGR, and PGT students with an interest in the research aims of Research Centre for the Study of Parties and Democracy. Please register your attendance.
