Caroline obtained her Veterinary Degree from Glasgow University in 1993. She spent the next 15 years working in small animal practice, including 2 years working part-time for Pet Blood Bank UK. Caroline started work as a Facilitator at the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science in January 2007. She graduated with a Masters in Medical Education in December 2010 and is currently studying part-time for a PhD on weight management in dogs.
Caroline's main role is facilitating Clinical Relevance and Personal and Professional Skills sessions, and she has recently taken on responsibility for training new facilitators. She also teaches practical skills and communication skills.
Caroline has been involved in marking portfolios, coursework and other assessments. She is involved in the admissions process, marking UCAS questionnaires and interviewing potential students, and has also assisted in outreach work such as the Summer Schools.
Caroline mapped the Learning Objectives Database in 2008 and again in 2010.
