Biography

Tracy qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2001 and has since obtained a BSc (hons) in veterinary nursing (with a first class result), an advanced diploma in veterinary nursing (with a distinction and award for best diploma student) and a clinical coaching qualification.

Over the last 20+ years, Tracy has built an array of experience in the industry, ranging from the Zoological department at London Zoo to first opinion and referral centres.

Tracy spent several years working abroad in multiple Countries as a veterinary nurse, scuba diving instructor and TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) teacher, during which time she learned to speak advanced Spanish and Egyptian Arabic.

Tracy's experiences abroad, coupled with her vast experience in team leading/head nursing roles in the U.K, have moulded her career path towards her biggest strength which is teaching.

The diverse experiences under her belt make Tracy a very grounded teacher, able to encourage students in multiple aspects of their learning experience. Tracy's interest in anaesthesia has resulted in her current role as "teaching assistant in clinical anaesthesia", where she works alongside specialists in practice, delivering a high level of teaching to final year veterinary students in their specialist rotations.

In her spare time Tracy plays the Spanish Guitar, spends time with her friends and family, enjoys Scuba diving and mountain biking and most of all spending time with her favourite person in the world, her two year old Son.
