Description
A conversation with... graphic

The Wellbeing, Health and Social Care Research Centre (WHSCR) is continuing their seminar series titled A Conversation with….

These are informal interviews/conversations with individual members of WHSCR, discussing their journeys into social research. Designed to capture the humanity of social research in a relaxed conversational format, they will explore individuals’ motivations, achievements, challenges, learning and future research intentions.

Whilst the series will largely include conversations with WHSCR members, they will be open (and relevant) to the whole school as opportunities to get to know colleagues and hear more about the people behind the research taking place in the school.

This very special conversation takes place on Wednesday 13 April from 2 to 3.30pm with a conversation with Deborah Kitson. Deborah will look back on her long and exciting research career as she heads towards retirement.

About the events

The conversation with sessions are 1.5 hours, the first hour will be the conversation itself and the remaining time will be used for questions and discussion. This event is open to all across the school and we hope to see many of you there.

Please note for the interview itself, attendees will be asked to turn their microphones and cameras off to attempt to create a more intimate discussion atmosphere. Cameras and mics are welcome for the discussion!
