AI-powered breast cancer diagnosis tool wins the UK Artificial Intelligence in Health and Care Award

University of Nottingham is part of a pioneering £100m NHS consortium set to use a ground-breaking artificial intelligence (AI) tool to speed up the diagnosis of breast cancer – potentially saving more lives. The tool – Galen™ Breast – developed by Ibex Medical Analytics, a world leader in AI-powered cancer diagnostics, was announced as the winner of the UK Artificial Intelligence in Health and Care Award thanks to a grant led by Professor Emad Rakha UoN.
