It is important that anyone driving on University business takes note of the guidance contained in Driving on University Business . This must be read in conjunction with the University’s Business Travel Policy which can be found on Commercial Services workspace.
It is illegal to use a hand-held mobile phone whilst driving. Members of the University must not use hand-held mobile phones whilst driving any vehicle, including personally owned, university-owned or hired to the University, whilst driving on University business.

University policy is that bicycles must not be brought into University buildings for the following reasons:
The University provides a number of secure, well-lit facilities on all campuses.
All cyclists are reminded that it is a legal requirement to use front and rear lights during poor light/darkness and it is advised that reflective clothing is worn. Wearing a cycle helmet is also advised.
University policy is that permission for use of privately owned e-scooters on our campuses is not granted.
