Professor Brigitte Nerlich, of the Science, Technology and Society Priority Group and School of Sociology and Social Policy, has been awarded second place in the 2012 British Sociological Association Climate Change Study Group article prize.
Her article "'Climategate': Paradoxical Metaphors and Political Paralysis" in Environmental Values, vol. 19(4), pages 419-422. was judged by a panel including John Urry, Catherine Butler, Milena Buchs and Maya Gislason.
