Why Nottingham?

With a very strong record in university competitions, we've seen many #GreenandGold players crowned BUCS champions - in both team and individual events with English Nationals champion Kirby Ngan also the current BUCS singles champion. Our vision for our badminton programme continues to be very ambitious, offering a strong performance culture and comprehensive training schedule for students joining the University of Nottingham.

Martyn Lewis - Head Coach

Heading our programme is UKCC Level 2 and Badminton Wales National Development coach Martyn Lewis.

Previously a professional badminton player, Martyn won nearly 100 caps for Wales and held the No. 1 Welsh Men's Doubles ranking for 5 years. His nine European and World title wins included victory at the Spanish and Belgian Open.
