What does the Sport in Schools programme involve?

Free-of-charge, our Sport in Schools programme aims to offer schoolchildren the opportunity to try new sports with a fun and relaxed approach in their school setting.

Schools can choose from a variety of sports including dodgeball, flag football, Ultimate (frisbee) and more. All equipment will be provided by us.

Our student leaders will deliver a minimum of six weekly sessions in your school and sessions can be integrated into your school day or delivered as an extra-curricular activity.

The sessions are delivered by our student leaders, who are all passionate about their sport, and who have received training from our professional staff through our Leadership Academy.

The programme is both flexible and inclusive to meet your school's needs. Our team will work closely with your school to ensure that the sport, timings and frequency work best for your group. We believe learning works best when it's enjoyable and so we design our programme carefully to help the children stay active and eager to join in. We adapt to different abilities and can cater for pupils with additional accessibility requirements.

Is it for my school?

  • Suitable for both primary and secondary schools
  • Open to all schools / colleges in Nottingham
