Our LGBTQIA+ Staff Network is here to support lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer, intersex, aro(/)ace employees within the University of Nottingham. We aim together to create a more LGBTQIA+ inclusive work environment and embrace diversity.

The network uses our own private Microsoft Team where we share stories, updates, news, events and more. To join in all you have to do is complete our form below.

The data collected by this form will be used only for the explicit use of providing you with access to our Microsoft Team group. It will be processed in line with UK and EU data protection law. This data processing is covered by our central privacy notices.

What the LGBTQIA+ Staff Network does

The network is here to:

  • provide peer-to-peer support to LGBTQIA+ employees including hosting our own LGBTQIA+ first mentoring community.
  • promote a better understanding of LGBTQIA+ inclusion across the University of Nottingham
  • be a critical friend to the University of Nottingham by encouraging it to make its policies, processes, and work as LGBTQIA+ inclusive as possible
  • arrange training and events to inform and raise awareness to everyone across the university about the LGBTQIA+ community
