Teresa Jeffcoat (CEng MEng MICE) is a Senior General Manager who works for Mott MacDonald Bentley within the @one alliance in Anglian Water. Teresa has accountability for all Water project delivery within the alliance, alongside accountability for circa 150 alliance and 150 MMB staff. She uses collaborative practices to bring innovative and effective solutions to her programmes of work.
An experienced chartered civil engineer with over 20 years of experience in the sector, she uses her values and belief in doing the right thing to ensure successful programme outcomes – for the customers, client, contractors and supply chain.

Chidinma Raymond-Limejuice, a virologist at the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), drives innovations in public health surveillance through advanced research and technology. With an MSc and PhD from the University of Nottingham, her role at UKHSA focuses on protecting the UK from viral health threats, particularly during pandemics. Her expertise in assay development and validation has been crucial in analysing hepatitis transmission within healthcare settings. Chidinma’s team leads hepatitis investigations nationwide, addressing risk factors with enhanced infection control, routine screening, and vaccination protocols. At the University of Nottingham, Chidinma earned multiple prestigious awards, including the Developing Solutions Scholarship, Erasmus Fellowship, Schlumberger Faculty for the Future Fellowship, and top placements in national and global 3MT competitions. Outside her professional life, Chidinma is married, has a son, and founded the Zoe Children Foundation in Nigeria, supporting children’s welfare.

As a registered midwife and award-winning college lecturer for vulnerable populations, Gemma extends her impact through ventures like The Essential Baby Company Ltd and The Essential Baby Co in the Community CIC, focusing on promoting equity and supporting underrepresented communities. Building on her success in engaging underrepresented, she crafted the award-winning haPPIE® initiative, effectively redistributing power balances between patients and healthcare professionals to revolutionise how health education is delivered.
Beyond her advocacy, Gemma serves as an NHS Core20 Ambassador, NHS Maternity User Researcher, and Clinical Entrepreneur Ambassador. Notably, she made history as the first midwife to host the NHS Innovation Big Pitch event, showcasing her dedication to innovation, inclusivity, and social justice in healthcare. Passionate about collaboration, Gemma partners with various entities to enhance user experiences, eliminate design biases, and address broader social justice issues.

Dr Ojo is an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist and Honorary Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham, recognised for his contributions to education.
With a strong clinical background, he leads technology-driven education initiatives integrating AI, virtual and augmented reality, and telemedicine to shape healthcare training.
An international speaker and TEDx presenter, Dr Ojo champions experiential learning, specialising in simulation-based education and mentorship. His advocacy and research in digital healthcare education are setting new standards for accessibility and training, positioning him as a transformative leader in healthcare education worldwide.

Gethrude Charles is a business leader and sustainability advocate with over six years of experience in business development and eco-tourism. As the founder of Osena Travels, she expanded the company’s reach across four continents. At the University of Nottingham, Gethrude led a team in the Climate Resilience Challenge, crafting sustainable solutions for a partner organisation, and she also served as a member of the EDI Committee. Currently, she mentors the university’s Sustainability and Societal Impact Fellows and recently competed in Evolve 2024, applying her expertise in sustainable strategy to inspire responsible, impactful entrepreneurship.

Named in Exeter’s 30 under 30 and 2024 winner of the Diversity Champion category of the Security Serious Unsung Heroes Awards, Emma is currently Regional Sales manager for a leading IT company. Emma is co-founder of ConneXe, a business revolutionising career opportunities for talent using events, employer branding consultancy and creative marketing to bring opportunities to the South West; and Founder of The Concrete Club, a podcast inspired by her experience of rebuilding her life following a brain injury in 2018, when she was hit by a concrete mixer in her car. Emma works to give a voice to women in tech and cyber industries, leading the development of WiTCH (Women in Tech and Cyber Hub) in Exeter. She is also a board member of the Exeter initiative for Science and Technology and assisted the creation of the new board for NextGen in the Exeter Chamber of Commerce. Emma studied Animal Science and was a Witty Scholar, funded by former Chancellor of the University of Nottingham, Sir Andrew Witty and his family.

Peter completed three degrees at the University of Nottingham from 2014 to 2022. After finishing his Mathematics undergraduate degree, he spent five years working towards a master’s and then a PhD in Human Computer Interaction. Alongside his studies, Peter engaged significantly with the Boat Club. Receiving recognition for his services to sport and the student experience with multiple awards over his five-year tenure as President of the club, he now coaches part-time for the university. Working for the National Governing Body after his graduation, Peter has provided insight support to projects bringing meaningful change to rowing at a national scale.
