Before applying, make sure you have:

• A recent digital passport-style photograph of yourself
• Completed online registration
  
  

Your photo needs to be approximately 420x420 pixels, provided in .jpg format and must comply with the following requirements: 

• Close-up of full head and upper shoulders
• Facing forward looking straight at the camera
• No hats or sunglasses
• No other objects or people
• Unaltered by filters 

If your photo does not comply with the above or is otherwise inappropriate, you will be liable to pay a £15 replacement fee.
