Being part of an academic community
Being a Postgraduate Taught or Masters of Research student can sometimes feel a bit like being in limbo: you are not an undergraduate, and usually only have one year to become part of the university and complete your course. So how can you feel part of the academic community you are studying in?
In this session we will look at the structure of the university, timings of the university year, engaging with academic events in your area and feeling empowered as a postgraduate taught and masters by research student.
