Consent Session - Let's be Clear on Consent

Compulsory

The workshop is an interactive face-to-face session:

Developed in collaboration with current students, Consent Training will be offered to all first-year students at the beginning of the 2023 academic year. The workshop is an interactive face-to-face session to explore; Why is consent important? What is it? What does it look like? and how can we contribute to a positive and safe university community?

Please be aware that in the workshop we will be discussing sensitive issues relating to consent and sexual violence. This will connect to the lived experience of some students who are joining the university. Please feel supported to choose not to attend the workshop if this is not right/appropriate for you. Please be aware that you can access support if you are affected by these issues from your Support and Wellbeing Team or by contacting us via Report and Support.

This session gives you an opportunity to meet other Year 1 students, to collaborate with each other and solve a problem and create a poster presentation.
