8am – I get up and get ready for my day. My first lecture is across the uni campus, so I begin my day with a beautiful walk. It’s a little cold this morning though.
9am – I grab a coffee and head over to the Chemistry Building for my first lecture. It’s two hours long and I’ll be taking notes throughout.
11am – I have a team meeting with the CubeSat team in the Aerospace Labs. Working as a team in some of our modules really helps me see other perspectives by listening to what my friends have to say.
1pm – I head home and grab some lunch. I’ll be working from home all afternoon.
2pm – I write up my notes from the day’s lecture and study for a few hours.
6pm – Now’s time for me to socialise with my housemates. We watch a movie and chill out after our day's work.
9am – A slightly later morning. I don’t have a lecture until this afternoon so I’m going to grab breakfast and head in early to study in the library.
11am – I arrive at the George Green Library. I need to grab a couple of books and make sure I fully understand everything I’ve learnt this week.
1pm – I head to the Coates Café and grab lunch with some friends. It’s pretty cheap there and I like to have a hot lunch when I can.
4pm – My only lecture today. I head to the Physics Building and get ready to take as many notes as I can.
6pm – Time to work out at the David Ross Sports Village. Today I’m going to run on the treadmill to try and burn off any energy I have left before heading home.
9am – We have an online lecture over Microsoft Teams. Now that we’ve moved back onto campus for lectures, these are quite rare. I still appreciate them though and because they are recorded they can be rewatched later to make sure I didn’t miss any notes.
1pm – I write up my notes from yesterday’s lecture. I try to keep on top of this so that if I have any questions, I can drop into the lecturer’s office and ask them about it.
4pm – I head back to the George Green Library to make notes for an assignment I have due. I'll spend a couple of hours studying here before heading home.
7pm – I cook dinner with my housemates. We take turns in who cooks and who cleans. Tonight I'm washing up.
