Our societies

University may seem daunting. It’s a time when there are lots of changes in your life, but you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll make loads of new friends, and what better way to socialise than by joining a society!

As a foundation student you might not know what you want to study for your undergraduate degree, but our engineering societies are the perfect way to make friends and learn a little about our departments. Considering aerospace engineering? Try AeroSoc. Do you get a buzz our of electrical engineering? The EEE Soc will be the place for you. Worried about the environment? The Chem Env Soc is full of likeminded people. We have a society for practically everything you could want to try, so you’ll have no problems fitting in.
