Whilst studying architecture at the University of Nottingham, you’ll work on a huge variety of interesting modules that build on your knowledge. They’ll be tutorials, lectures and practical classes to suit all learning styles and show you the sort of tasks architects work on in practice.
Our studio design modules make up around half of the architecture course and really sit at its heart. You’ll spend two days each week in our dedicated undergraduate studios undertaking design project work, the projects growing in complexity and scale as you progress through your course.
You’ll be learning how to design buildings through sketching, modelling, and formal drawing by hand and on the computer. The atmosphere within our studies is dynamic and a vibrant place to work, supported by your peers and even one-to-one tutoring.
Working as a team in our design studios is a great way to get practical experience and will really set you up for how a career in architecture will look.
