My favourite part of teaching is lecture engagement sessions. We discuss with students about how to apply psychology theory to real world practices. One example is that autistic people report that being interviewed by police is really challenging. So we discuss in these sessions how we can apply what we know about autism and autistic people to improve their experiences.
