The Centre for English Language Education helps develop your academic skills and language before you start your degree course, preparing you for the demands of academic study in a range of disciplines. The centre also offers academic language and communication skills support during your studies. As
our staff are all English for academic purposes experts, you will benefit from their specialist knowledge.

Pre-sessional English for Academic Purposes


These courses are designed to bring your academic and language skills up to the required entry level for your chosen degree course. Successful completion will enable you to join the start of your degree without further IELTS testing. We offer both in-person and online course options.
