A placement is a great way to put your learning to the test before you go out into the working world.

You’ll gain first-hand experience of what graduate life is like by becoming an employee at an operating business and earning a salary.

Not only will this help to consolidate your knowledge, but you’ll gain practical skills that can’t be taught in the lecture theatre. These skills can then be applied to your future studies and used to improve your employability after graduation.

Indulge your inner explorer by spending part of your degree in another country.

Studying abroad is a fantastic opportunity to have a unique and valuable life experience, learn about new cultures and enhance your CV.

You can gain a whole new perspective on your subject, learn new ideas from different academics and you could learn a new language depending on where you end up studying.

Most courses at the business school allow you to spend either a year or a semester abroad. Or if you prefer, you can apply to attend a summer school outside of your degree programme.

Our amazing campuses also provide loads of opportunities to expand your knowledge and develop professionally.

From becoming a committee member for a sports team or society to challenging yourself in a business competition or even completing the Nottingham Advantage Award, we have plenty of extracurricular activities to keep you busy and boost your job prospects.
